Senior Product Designer (UX)

B-Social’s vision is to change people’s behaviour with money for good by building the best social bank on the planet. We want to change behaviour forever, for the better and for society.

We are currently in the exciting process of rebranding to Kroo where you’ll have a big impact on the future of our social current account.

B-Social was founded in 2016 with a team of technology, marketing, legal and banking professionals. Since the start, we’ve adopted a lean and agile approach. We run experiments to validate ideas early on, collaborate closely on design and development and build customer feedback into our process. We also regularly hold whole company retrospectives to continuously improve the way we work.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX) to be part of our team of 30 based in London. In addition to working within our cross-functional product teams, this role will provide you with the opportunity to shape, and potentially lead, our product design community as we grow and evolve.

What you will do:

  • Shape our product strategy together with product managers
  • Identify customer jobs, problems and opportunities via user research
  • Work with the founders, product managers, developers, and other designers to build a product that delight our customers.
  • Be involved at every step of the product design and development process, from early discovery through to ensuring design quality through to launch.
  • Influence, iterate and improve the shape of the product with research and data while considering technical constraints and business goals.
  • Map out user journeys and flows
  • Test hypotheses by running experiments and building interactive prototypes
  • User test and collate feedback from existing customers
  • Support the hiring process, along with mentoring and inspiring others to build an awareness of design thinking across all parts of the business.

What we are looking for:

  • You have over 4 years of design experience creating solutions for mobile apps and digital experiences, not just websites.
  • Have a great portfolio that demonstrates a good eye for visual design and interaction design.
  • Have the ability to take projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure their success.
  • Highly proficient with design and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, InVision)
  • You are comfortable with sharing and presenting your ideas and learnings both internally and externally (blog posts, speaking opportunities and events).
  • You’re passionate about accessibility and inclusive design.
